CHRISTIAN SCIENCE.

“Reality” wa§ the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Chtt n lies of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text was Luke 12:32: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.” (Rev. 21:2, 3.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “This is Scriptural authority for concluding that such a recognition of being is, and has been, possible to men in this present state of existence —that we can become conscious, here and now, of a cessation of death, sorrow, and pain. Take heart, dear sufferer, for this reality of being will surely appear sometime and in some way. When you read this remember Jesus’ words, ‘The kingdom of God is within you ’ This spiritual consciousness is therefore a present possibility.” (p. 573.)
