GOLF CLUB TROPHIES.
At a dance held by the Woodville Golf Club on Saturday the various trophies won this year were presented by Mrs Johnston. Mr Johnston congratulated the winners and the club on its excellent year’s sport. 'Trophy winners arc: Campbell Cup (open), W. J. Goodwin; Elder Cup (open handicap), E. J. Stitt; senior championship. W ; J. Goodwin; middleweight championship, R. L. Gibbs; junior championship, T. Hanaray; Harris Cup (junior handicap), P. W. Morris. Ladies. L.G.U., Miss D. Peebles; ladies’ stroke competitions, Miss M. Redwood, Mrs P. W. Morris, Miss J. Peebles and Mrs S. Worbovs; ladies’ rose bowl, Miss Smith (runner-up, Airs P. W. Morris); mixed foursome, Air and Mrs 15. Wilson. Air E. Stitt was M.C.
