A RECIPE. APPLE AND BATTER PUDDING. Peel, core, and slice 31b apples; sprinkle with a little sugar, and nearly fill a well-greased mould or basin Sieve Goz plain flour, add pinch salt ; make a well in middle of the flour, drop 1 egg in bay, then add i pint milk by degrees and heat mixture until smooth and light. Pour hatter over prepared apples and steam gently for 1 hour. Allow to stand for 1 minute, I then turn out carefully and serve at once.
