R.S.A.
The committee of the Feilding R.S.A. met on Thursday evening, Mr F. J. Allen presiding. Also present were Messrs G. M. Moffitt, H. D. Richardson, IT Brooker, T. Donaldson, T. K. Hay, R. H. Buchanan, A. F. McKenzie and the secretary (Mr C. V. Jewell). Mr Allen was appointed to represent the association on the Home Guard Committee. Approval of the association’s rules was received from the Registrar of Incorporated Societies. An amount of £2O has been paid to the Borough Council for the provision of relief work for returned soldiers, it was stated. The resignation of Mr Moffitt was received with regret, and a record of his splendid service on the committee made. Mr Moffitt is leaving Feilding shortly to reside in Palmerston North. Mr Z. McLeod is his successor on the committee. Points concerning tho Waikato Volunteer Mobile Unit organisation are to he submitted to the Home Guard Committee for. its information. It was decided to send a letter of congratulation to a member, Sister E. Smith, on her appointment to the Burnham Military Hospital.
