YOUNG FARMERS.
MANAWATU EXECUTIVE,
At a meeting of the Manawatu district executive committee of Young Farmers, held last night, Mr 11. 0. Gloyn presided. Motions of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr R. Mason, a former chairman of the Feilding Young Farmers’ Club, and with Mr H. tie 0. Chamberlain iu the death of his mother, were carried.
In connection with the Manawatu and West Coast A. and I J . Association’s request for assistance ‘in the securing of entries for the Young Farmers’ Club fat lamb classes, the secretary was instructed to communicate with all clubs. The A. and P. Association also notified that the committee’s request for the holding of the Wellington council’s stock _ judging .championship at the‘forthcoming Show had been granted. A sub-committee was set up to make arrangements for the holding of the stock judging competition, consisting of Messrs N. P. Nielsen. It. O. Gloyn, D. Scott, A. C. Morton, W. Howell and S. Richardson It .was decided that individual competition winners lie awarded certificates in place of miniature cups as has been the procedure in the past.
