FROZEN MEAT.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. The Food Controller (Mr .F. R. Picot) states that, as a result of negotiations with, the Master Butchers’ Association, arrangements are being made to ticket all frozen meat as such. It is not a sign of inferior quality, but to enable the public to know what they are buying. ■'*' The frozen meat released cannot be surpassed, as it is of export quality. It is anticipated that alter the end of October greater supplies of fresh killed meat will be available, and it will not be necessary to call upon the freezing works stocks.
