TANGIMOANA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) TANC.IMOANA, Sept, 26. A happy time was spent at Air and Mrs Arnott’s Tangitnoaria homo when friends and relatives gathered to welcome homo Mr and Mrs Harold Arnott, and Mr and Mrs Noel Arnott, two recently-married couples. The evening passed pleasantly with games and competitions, the winners being Mrs J. Classen, Mr K. Carmichael, and Mr W. I.a Roche. Card winners were Mrs Hobbs and Mr J. Classen; Mr Lamb and Mr J. Clark being runners up. Thoso present included friends from Tangimoana, Levin, Oroua Downs and Rongotca. Winners at the Labour Party’s euchre were Mrs A. D. Webby, of Otaki, and Mrs R. Webby, Messrs Ycmrn, Coleman, Avery and Francis tied- with eight games, the play-off resulting in Mr Yomrir taking the first prize and Mr Francis the second. The consolation prize was awarded to Mr T. 11. Jones.
