LOCAL CONTRIBUTIONS

The keen desire of tho public to assist the victims of the London bombing is very evident, because a number of contributions have already been received, and pending the appointment of the committee at the public meeting being called for Thursday night, the “Manawatu Standard” is pleased to acknowledge these, and any further donations ,which contributors care to send. The initial contribution of £25 received by the “Manawatu Standard” is from Mr and Mrs E. F. Trigg and others are continuing to come in through this office and that of the organising committee.
