Hutton, L. Jones, E. F. Kenzie, M. I. Meads, J. O’Shaughnessy, IT. Penney, J. J. Sinclair, O. Wilson, R. A. Winchcombe, P. D. Wootton. For Burnham (October 2) : A. L. ICidson, 11. W. Dunn. At a meeting of the Marton Red CJro«9 Commill.ee. the Mayor (Mr F. Purnell) liresided. It was stated that the; appointment of Miss I. Crooke to the North Island Y.A.D. Committee had beer) confirmed by tlie Wanganui Provincial Centre. The sum of £lO was voted to the funds for relief of London air-raid sufferers. A further sum of £l2 10s was voted as the Marton sub-centre’s quota to head-' quarters in Wellington, as its share of the Wanganui Provincial Centre’s expenses.
