LADIES' BOWLING CLUB.

The annual report of the president, of the Hokowhitu Ladies’ Bowling Club (Mrs R. • E. Kcmpson), presented to a meeting this, afternoon, stated that tho season was a happy and successful one. Trophies wero won by Airs Spinlcy (Flick Shield and trophy), Aliss Keats (Silvester Cup), Airs Fleck (Gardner Cup), Air and Mrs W. Woodroofe, and Airs Stevens. The club exchanged visits with the Port Ahuriri (Napier) Ladies’ Bowling Club, the latter winning the Centennial Cup which is to be competed for annually between the two clubs. 'The Feilding and Castlecliff clubs also visited Hokowhitu. Appreciation of ’the assistance of many helpers was expressed.
