BOXING.
RAYNER v. GILDO. All arrangements have now been completed for the big fight between Clarrio Raynor and Young Gildo, which takes place at the Opera House on Saturday, night. Botli men have had very long boxing experience, Gildo having bad over 400 fights and during his long career has fought and beaten the best boxers of his weight in America, Australia and New Zealand. Whenever he steps into the ring lie can be relied upon to please the crowd, lie is a good two-fisted fighter, and just loves to mix it vvih his opponent. As Ravner is of A similar type, the boxing patrons of Palmerston North can rest assured that they are in for a rare treat on Saturday night. The box plan is now open at Collinson and Cunninghamc’s and is rapidly filling. Patrons arc urged to book at once and be sure of a good seat.
