RUGBY FOOTBALL.
SATURDAY’S ATTRACTIONS. Rugby football attractions at Palmerston North on Saturday include the annual intcrunion Rowland Cup match, between the winning junior teams of the, Horowhenua and Manawatu Rugby Unions. This season’s match, to commence ht 2.45 pan. on the Showgrounds oval, will be between Kia Toa and Foxton juniors, and should reach the high standard of play seen in previous years’ contests. Eight entries have been received for the senior seven-a-sido tournament, also to bo played on ' Saturday. Those are as follow : Kia Toa (2), Old Boys, Feilding, Feilding Old Boys, United (2), and St. Patrick’s. The ground is now hard and fast and the play in this tournament should be most entertaining.
