FIRE BOARD
The quarterly meeting of the W oodvillo Fire-Board was held on Tuesday afternoon, when there were present the chairman (Mr R. R. Johnston) and Messrs 11. Galbraith. S. Turnbull, G. MitfordTaylor, W. G. Hay. D. Keay (secretary) and 11. Mitchell (superintendent). Mr McNeill reported for the past quarter as follows:—Fire plugs have been inspected, and are in good order. A call was icv ceived on July 7 to a chimney fire, and a second call was received on July to a wha re and outbuildings in ox Street, no damage resulting.
