Commendation of the action of the staff of the laundry at the Palmerston North Hospital in washing clothes for the Lady Galway Guild, free of charge I on several Saturday mornings, was ex- ■ pressed at a meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board yesterday. Air J. Bovce said it was excellent to find a body of workers nowadays who would make a gift of their services. A letter was received from the Palmerston North Lady Galway Guild thanking tlie laundry staff for their action.
