PAHIATUA.

A tea with a social evening following was the order in which the Busy Bees celebrated their third birthday party in St. Paul’s Sunday School Hall on Saturday. Mrs J. 11. Smith, in welcoming the visitors, spoke of the work of' the Hive. She called on Isobel Heayns to light the three candles, all the lights being turned out while the greetings were sung. The candles were extinguished by Donald Smith, the youngest member. Mue Cody had the honour of cutting the cake. Items were contributed by the following:—Betty Brown, Heather Stanley, Margaret Swanncy, Margaret Stewart, Isobel Ileayns, Dawn Wright, Claire Swanney, Donald Smith, Janice Dalgleish, Lorna Pratt, the Busy Bee Ilivc.
