Y.W.C.A.

An interesting talk oh life in Sweden, where ho had spent two years, was given by Mr C. E. Taylor, junr., of Palmerston North, at the Y.W.C.A. last evening. Mr Taylor was introduced by Mrs C. A. Small (president of the Y.W.C.A.). Mrs ,B. Elphiek (a member of tho board) thanked the speaker. Miss L. McDonald gave vocal solos, accompanied hv Mrs J. Emmett. Earlier in tho evening, Miss E. M. Wright, of the staff of the Feildlng Agricultural High School, addressed members of the Business and Professional Women’s Hound Table Club at their fortnightly tea, giving an interesting account of her iinpres-* sions while at a girls’ boarding school in Lausanne. Miss I. Madden presided and Mrs G. Pratt thanked the speaker.
