COLD TEMPERATURES. IMPROVEMENT TO-MORROW. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 16. A depression is centred over the North Island while an anti-cyclone extends from Eastern Australia on to the Tasman Sea. . The forecast is for strous;, squally southerly winds, decreasing to-morrow. The weather will he dull with intermittent rain, but conditions will be improving to-morrow from the west. Temperatures cold with further snow on the ranges. .
