CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES.
"Substance” was the subject of the Lesion-Sermon in all Churches of Christ. Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text was Romans 8:25: “If we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson- Sermon were the following from the Bible: "Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. That I. may cause those' that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.”. (Prov. 8:1, 18. 21.1 Also the' following passages from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy: "Every object .in material thought, will bp destroyed, but the spiritual idea, whose substance is in Mind, is eternal. Christian Science separates error from truth, and breathes through the sacred pages the spiritual sense of life, substance, and intelligence.” (pp. 267, 548.)
