LONDON, Sept. 15. The Sunday Express says that Hitler has arrived at his new invasion headquarters in the north of ll ranee, and that he has also invited German and neutral journalists to assemble on the French coast to witness tne greatest spectacle of tho ages”—the invasion of England. Field-Marshal Goenng is also at the advanced air force headquarters. However, the order to invade is still hot issued, and the strange new piopafanda is circulating m Berlin that after all invasion may not he necessary. German official quarters are using an. argument that Britain can he brought toTier knees by the destruction ot her economic life by the air raids'and the blockade. “ALREADY FAILED.”
A message from New Jersey (United States) states: Dr Charles F. Bove, head surgeon at the American hospital in Paris, on his arival from France, said that the Germans had already attempted and failed several times to invade England at different points. , Dr Bove’described seeing hundreds ot German bodies in the water near Cherbourg. Dr Bove added that the Germans were constantly practising for the invasion. Troops were forced to leap overboard and swim considerable distances fully uniformed and equipped. He declared that he was aware ot. the invasion attempts from personal observation and from talking with responsible sources.
