LITTLE THEATRE.
CHILDREN’S PLAYS PRESENTED. A new departure by tlie Little Theatre Society was a matinee performance, on Saturday afternoon, when three one-act plays w r ere presented by the junior division. The plays chosen were varied in theme and charmingly presented, reflecting credit on the producers and the young actors. The first play, produced by Miss C. Cairns, was a period one with the frocking particularly well done. Those taking part were Jocelyn Thomson, Robert Cook, Ray Stevens, Phyllis Petersen, Christopher Small, Margaret AVatciiorn, Eleanor Bennett, Valerio Dobson, Craig Mills, Jill Hunter, Barry Cousins and Murray Turnbull. The second play was a humorous one in which Eric Ashcroft, Murray Turnbull, Neville Drake, Basil Drake and Brian Stout took part. The producer was Mrs T. A. Bennett. The third play was produced by Mrs M. Dymock. It was of the witch and fairy type, and again attractive frocking was a feature. Those iti tho parts were Joan Isbistcr, Patricia Penny, Jocelyn Clark, Nona Kingsbecr, Loye Vile, Alan Norman. Margot Harris, Ann Powell and Winifred Houlden.
