For the first day of the Avondale spring meeting there was fine weather. The course was in good order and the attendance large. Results: IvINGSLAND HURDLES, of £250. Seven fur-longs.—lo-10 Aquila, 8.2 (Ilain), 1; 3-3 Expellant, 8.2, 2; 7-7 Rara Avis, 8.2, 3. Scr: Chcddington, Karatoki, Master Warden, Desert Tide. Half a length; threequarters of a length.
