RAIDS IN LIBYA.

R.A.F. START FIRES. (Rec. 10:45 a.m.) CAIRO, Sept. 12. An R.A.F. communique says our bombers yesterday launched a series of raids against Libya, starting four fires at Amseat; bombing the landing ground at Derna, bombs falling among aircraft, where two large fires broke out; the harbour and jetty at Derna. where several fires were started; and Bardia.

The enemy tried to bomb Mersa Matruh (Egypt), but suffered a high proportion of losses, four Savoias being destroyed. The South African Air Force bombed Sciasciamanna (Centr'd Abyssinia) and destroyed one plane aiid damaged four.
