Mrs Richard Spencer, who has been spending three months in Auckland, Wellington and Hawke’s Bay, lias returned home to “Kaingara, - ” Ivimbolton Road.
On Saturday the annual Wangachu to Wanganui road race of 8 1-3 niiiCd will be staged and the Fending Club will have five members to rcprcecnt it. The following arc lhc handicaps: R. Lainbcrton, 2 min 20sec; L. Barrett, 7.30; E. Batten, 7.45; J. Haycock, 9.30; H. Moes, lOmin. Mr K. Mills will again travel with the runners, who arc to meet at the gymnasium at 12.45 p.m. The junior runners will indulge in a training run.
