METHODIST GUILD.
ANNUAL PLOAVER SHOAV. Alany beautiful blooms were exhibited at the annual flower show organised by the members of the Cuba Street Methodist Ladies’ Guild. The exhibition, which was an outstanding success, was a tribute to both the exhibitors and the organisers. Although the entries were perhaps not as large as experienced at previous shows, the exhibits generally compared favourably with those seen in previous years. Tn the decorative section some very fine pieces of work were exhibited. The cooking section received plenty of support and the entries were of a very high class. Aluch of the success of the show was due to the untiring efforts of the ladies’ committee under the leadership of Mrs L. M. Boyes, who was also ably assisted by the president of the guild (Airs A. E. Fisher). Rev. H. L. Fiebig, the minister, officially opened the show. Ho explained that it had been hoped that Rev. L. B.
