The Woodville senior A hockey team to play Broadway A is: R. Christenson, D. Yoght, S. Ormc, P. Burlacc, J. Ilardy, W. Wolfsbauer, D. Harris, L. Beale, R. Leach, S. Wilson and L. A\atkins. The B team default to United. At a meeting of the entertainment committee of the Woodville Patriotic Society the secretary (Mr D. Keay) reported that net proceeds from the recent patriotic ball were £l3 11s 2d. At the monthly meeting of Woodville Troop (N. Squadron) of the Legion of Frontiersmen Lieutenant D. S. L. Keay presided. The main subject for discussion concerned the proposed formation of a group of the Homo Guard at Woodville. The matter was fully discussed, with the result that the Frontiersmen decided to wholeheartedly support the movement. Plant is being assembled alongside the bridge across the Mangaatua Stream at Papatawa, preparatory to the commencement of work on the new bridge. Advice has been received from the headquarters of the Central Military Command in Wellington that the authorities have decided that the Territorial camp lor Hawke’s Bay will be held on the Danncvirko Showgrounds.
