RUGBY FOOTBALL.
RAILWAY REPRESENTATIVES. An outstanding Rugby attraction on Saturday, at the Showgrounds, will be the match between the Auckland and Palmerston North railway teams, both champions in their respective areas. The visiting team will include several of the best players in Auckland. The kickoff is timed for 3 p.m. and the fixture promises to provide good entertainment. SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNEY. Entries for the Manawatu Rugby Union’s junior and third grade seven-a-side tournament, to bo held at Rugby Park on Saturday, arc confined to local teams, but the number of these competing is very satisfactory—it is considered that more local teams are entered than ever before.
