CHRISTMAS PARCELS.
COMPLETION OF TOWN QUOTA
In connection with the effort being made in the Feilding district to provide soldiers overseas with parcels for Christmas, it is necessary for the donations of Christmas cake (in lib lots), tinned fruit, cigarettes, tobacco, etc., to be in the hands of Mrs A.- C. MeCorkindale, the secretary (Mr K. M. Little) or the treasurer (Mr C. H. Tate) by the week-end. Members of the ladies’ patriotic committee may be advised if direct contact cannot be made.
Advice lias been received that Marton has undertaken to parcels, while other committees in Zone E have promised to contribute their share to the effort. Donations aro acknowledged from the following: Manchester Street School, £5; W. G. Fry, £2; Miss A. Mayo, £1; “Swagger,” £l.
