WOMEN’S DIVISION
PATRIOTIC AIMS. At the monthly meeting of the Feilii ing branch of the W.D.F.U. Mrs It H. Buchanan presided. Apologies foj absence were received from Mesdames Green, Prouse, C. V. Jewell, W. G. Booth, Lobb, Hoeken, AV. 11. Booth, and Stack. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mesdames J. H. Mason and A. K. Prouse in their bereavement. Sympathy was also expressed with Mesdames Prouse and Green in their illnesses, and good wishes were expressed for their early recovery. The housekeeping secretary reported that one housekeeper had been employed during the month and that an application had been received for September. The annual birthday of the division is to be 'held in October. Advice was received from headquarters in \VeUington regarding the gift of fighting planes for Britain. A fund has been opened at headquarters and the Feuding branch on Friday received donations amounting to £B. Further d °.P r atlo £ s can be sent to the secretary (Mrs J,. Scott. 81 Denbigh Street.
