LEFT BOOK CLUB.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I note that H. Darbyshire, recently sentenced for distributing subversive literature, actually acknowledged to a police constable that he was a Communist, and a search of his house disclosed that he was a student of Left Book Club literature. This surely throws some light on a recent discussion per medium of your columns wherein the Left Book Club endeavoured to dissociate itself from Communism —apparently without success.—l am, etc., ALL BRITISH.
