CLEARING SALE OF DAIRY STOCK.
The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. report on the Kimbolton dairy stock sale held last week as fol.ows : The entry of 180 head, comprising approximately 100 dairy cows' and 50 .heifers, came forward in good order and condition. A good attendance of buyers operated, and prices held well throughout the sale. The top line of seven heifers on account of Mr J. J. Ncsdale realised £lO, while a line of 12 heifers on account of Mr R. Schmidt brought £8 15s. The prices for dairy cows ranged according to calving dates and condition, £lO 15s being the top price. Quotations: July cal vers, £8 to £lO ss; August cal vers, £7 to £lO ss: September fcalvcrs, £5 to £9 10s; spg heifers, £6, £6 10s, £7 2s 6d, £8 15s, £10; weancr heifers (Jersey), £2, £2 10s, £3. .
