FAREWELL PARTY.

A nleasant gathering took place at the Rosco tearooms on Friday afternoon, when a number of friends met to farewell Mrs W. J. G. AV.vllie, who is removing to Dargavillc, where her husband lias been appointed manager of the National Bank. The hostesses were. Mesdames A. J. Ashby and G. Smith, and the former, expressing regret at Mrs Wvllie’s departure and wishing , her well in - her new home, presented .her with a small gift and a spray of ■ orchids, on behalf of those present. Mrs AVyllie, who briefly expressed; her thanks, wore/ a frock of Air Force blue, with, navy coat. hat and accessories. Iceland poppies decorated the tea table.
