GENEROUS LOANS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 7. The total of interest-free loans and donations received by the Minister of Finance for the furtherance of New Zealand’s war effort is £1,971,967. The list includes a loan by J. T. Edmonds, Ltd., Christchurch, of £SOOO for the duration and six months afterwards, and £IOOO from Morrison and Morrison, Christchurch, for the duration and twelve months.
