Scolcs. • Pahiatua’s donations to the Sick, Wounded and Distress Fund Appeal have reached £2885 15s Id. At a. mooting of the Alangatainoka Young Farmers’ Club. Air G. Cuit.or presided'. It, was resolved to donate £5 5s to the Sick. Wounded, and Distress Fund Appeal. It was also decided to hand £2O as a frcc-of-intorcst loan, to the Government. A teamis lo ho. sent to compete in the Dannevirke Young Farmers’ Club stock judging compelition. and two seven-a-sido Rugby football teams are to he. sent to Palmerston North for the Young Farmers’ Clubs tburnamont. ,
