HEMP GRADINGS.
Gradings of hemp last month were 192 bales, compared with ' 945 bales" during May, 1939. Therm were no gradings of tow, stripper tow or stripper slips. Of the hemp graded last month, 57 bales were classed as low fair and throe bales common at Auckland, and 132 bales as reject at Bluff.
