BRITAIN’S RECOGNITION. (British Official Wireless.) Received June 7. 10.5-a.m, RUGBY, June 6. The Prime Minister (Mr Churchill), replying to a. question in tlie House of Commons said the British Government recognises tlie Bclgy i Government at present established in France as the only legal Government of Belgium and, therefore, entitled to exercise in the name of Belgium all due authority. “I need hardly say it is the untiring aim of the British Government and, I am sure, of the French Government to' secure for Belgium the effective restoration of her freedom and independence,” Air Churchill said.
