RIFLE SHOOTING
The Longburn Rifle Club held the second shoot of the competition series on Monday night'. Members were glad to welcome Sirs Strong on her first appearance this 'season. The relative advantages of the ring, broad blade, and narrow blade fore'sights have been much discussed, and _it seemed that it must be left to the individual to select, iho type that suits best. It was slated definitely that the -most accurate shooting may be done with the ring sight and the broad blade, in that order, provided that the aim is unfailingly clear for every shot. Should this condition not he fulfilled, .however, the shooting may be far less accurate than would be the case if a narrow blade wero used.
