TAKARO DANCE.
The Takaro Hall was crowded last evening when the Takaro Basketball Club held a dance A professional orchestra supplied old-time and modern music and Mr IV. Collins was M.C. The hall was effectively decorated in the club’s colours. .Novelties added to tlie enjoyment. Prize-winners were: Gav Gordons, Mrs W. Collins and Mr F. Matthews; Monte Carlo, Miss McKinnon and Mr J. Greening; a competition was won bv Mr D. Dorset. An extra was played by Mrs "W. Collins. As a result of the function the club’s funds will be considerably augmented.
