BRITISH MUSIC SOCIETY.

.On Tuesday night the pianoforte group of the Britisn Music Society met at the residence of Dr. and Mrs F. H. McDowall. The group leader (Miss Lola Buick) was in charge of the programme. which consisted of the following items: “Sing a Song of Sixpence,” Miss Slater; Menderssohn’s “Spring Song,” Mrs Howley and Miss Stockwell; Beethoven’s “Country Dance,” Mrs Hawley ; Paderewski’s “Minuet,” Mrs ltiddle and Miss Slater; “Devotion,” Miss Buick. On behalf of the group, Miss Buick conveyed thanks to Dr. and Mrs McDowall for the use | of their home.
