ARMY CASUALTIES.

OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 5. The following casualties in the N.Z.E.F. are officially announced: Sergeant Maxwell Douglas Petersen, Ist N.Z. General Hospital; missing, believed drowned. His wife is Mrs G. Petersen, of Roseneath, Wellington. Private Norman Spence Traynor, 22nd Rifle Battalion; died from concussion due to injuries accidentally received during leave. The next-of-kin are not given.
