ALIENS RESTRICTED.

RESIDENCE IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 3. Two further orders have been made affecting the residence of aliens in certain parts of Britain. The first, which came into operation yesterday, prohibits any alien from residing in certain parts of East Anglia, Kent, Sussex and special districts in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, except with permission of the Chief Constable which, it is stated, will not be given unless the presence of the alien is required for special work of national importance. The other order comes into operation on June 10 and prohibits aliens from residing in parts of several northern and western counties without the permission of the Chief Constable.
