JAPANESE SETBACK.
HONG KONG, June 3. The Japanese offensive in the Tsungfa sector of Kwangtung is not progressing. There are heavy mutual casualties. Japanese withdrawals from other districts to reinforce the at : tack resulted in further Chinese activity, including in the vicinity of Swatow, while guerrilla troop 6 are reorganising for concerted attacks on Japanese outposts and communication lines.
