WEDDING.

BELL—PRIEST. A very pretty wedding took place at St. Peter’s Church, Terrace End, oil Saturday, May 11, when Jennie, youngest daughter of Mr Priest and the late Mrs Priest, was married to Murray, only son of Mr and Mrs G. Bell, of Palmerston North. Rev. F. S. Ramson performed the ceremony, and Mr Porteous played the wedding music. Escorted by her father, the bride presented a charming picture in her graceful slim-fitting gown of magnolia satin. The corsage had a high neckline and was shirred at the shoulders, with long sleeves pointed over the hand, and with tiny buttons ornamenting the front of the high .waist-line, j and caught at the neck with orange I bldssom. The skirt swept into a long ' oval train. Her veil of embroidered I tulle was held in place with a coionet jof orange blossoms, and formed a sec'ond train, and a shower bouquet of j St. Joseph lilies, intermingled with I maidenhair fern, completed a most • becoming toilette. Little Noelene Ax presented the bride with a lucky horseshoe. ... T ' * . The bridesmaid. Miss Alma Lovejoy, a friend of the bride, was froclted in cornflower bine georgette over satin, fashioned with a shirred bodice, and. butterfly sleeves. The V-neck was finished with, a><spray of cyclamen pink flowers, and a velvet sash of the same colour was worn. The very full skirt was dotted with little clusters of pink flowers and she carried a bouquet to match. Pearls were worn, the gut of the bridegroom. . The two little flower-girls, .Tune Priest and Jovcelyn Ax, nieces of the bride and bridegroom, respectively, were frocked alike in full-length frocks of cornflower blue georgette, with frilly skirts and sleeves. Their sashes were of cyclamen pink velvet and they carried posies to tone. Mr P. Priest carried out the duties of best man. At the reception the usual toasts worn banoured and felicitations offered Holdipg pride of place at the bride’s table was a two-tiered cake, made by the bridegroom’s sister, Mrs Ax. Songs were sung by Mrs Jamieson and Mrs Ax, Mrs Borreson playing the aocomlianiment. Mrs Saunders, sister of the bride, received the guests, her frock being of clover shade, with matching accessories and fur,'and she carried flowers to tone. The bridegroom’s mother assisted, wearing a navy blue costume, navy hat, and fur stole. Her flowers were of autumn shades. The happv couple left by car for the north, the bride wearing a navy blue furtrimmed coat, navy bat and matching accessories. Their future home will be in Palmerston North.
