The Indian Government has cancelled licenses for commercial and communal wireless sets and prohibited listening to broadcasts from enemy stations or from countries in alliance with the enemy. Mr R. L. Dougliton' (Democrat) ”at Washington introduced in the House of Representatives the Emergency Defence Tax Bill, which provides for a yield of 606,000,000 dollars a year.
