SITUATION IN ABYSSINIA. LONDON, June 2. ’ The Djibouti correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says general mobilisation in Abyssinia was decreed between May 21 and May 24. Special guards were placed on the railway. The frontiers of Sudan and Kenya have been manned by Addis Ababa reservists with lorries and mobile artillery. Tank reinforcements have arrived at one point. A Rome message 6ays that Signor Ansaldo (editor of Count Ciano’s newspaper) told workers that they mustnot be surprised if they received a paper calling them to the colours, but must joyfully leave work and carry out the Duce’s orders.
