NATIONAL DAIRY ASSOCIATION
The annual report of the National Dairy Association states that the retiring directors arc: North Auckland district, Mr E. G. Appleton; Auckland district, Mr W. Harbutt; Hawke’s Bay, Mr J. Gildea; | Taranaki, Mr T. Winks; Wellington, Mr O. Cadwallader. Messrs W. Harbiitt, T. Winks and O. Cadwallader have been reflected unopposed for their respective districts. The following nominations have been received for the other scats: North Auckland district, Mr E. G. Appleton and Mr W. S. _ Wallace: Hawke’s Bay district, Mr J. Gildoa and Mr H. A. Olson. The farm dairy instruction servico is now nearing the second full year since its in-, ception and tho evidence of its value accumulates as time goes on, states the annual report of the National Dairy Conference! Even in those districts where it was received in Iho first instance with a certain amount of reserve, the services of these officers arc now welcomed, and an improvement in the milk and cream received at the factories is evidence of the value of tho work being clone. Great credit is due to the Dairy - Division for its careful selection of officers engaged as instructors.
