WOMEN’S HOCKEY.
Broadway were not extended to beat United in a match under the auspices of the Manawatu Hockey Association, played at Takaro Park on Saturday, the former winning by 5 goals to 1. Misses Taylor and Speirs gained two goals each and Miss Slattery one for Broadway, and Miss Brown scored United’s only goal. The umpire was Mr V. Turner. In a match played at Feilding, High School Old Girls beat Feilding by 5 goals to 1.
