AUSTRALIAN TROOPS.
SYDNEY, May 16. Recruiting for the Australian oversea forces is being speeded up. It is expected that further batches at the rate of 800 a. day will enter camp from next week as the result of raising the age limit to 40 years and reducing the height to five feet. The response to the appeal for recruits stimulated by the European developnicnts has been most gratifying throughout Australia.
