NO MAJOR CHANGE.
POSITIONS TAKEN UP.
(From Daventry.) There lias been no major change on the main disposition of the opposing forces since yesterday, and it lias been a period of regrouping. All the Allied fores have taken up the positions fixed by the High Command. At Sedan the Allies continue to hold out. In the air German army columns liave been bombed, and battles are continuing with some intensity. The Germans have suffered extremely heavy losses in partial success attending their desperate drive against the French lines. "Wave after wave of British ’planes bombed the enemy positions in the valley of the Meuse. The B.E.F. are in contact with the enemy at Louvain, where three vigorous counterattacks have been launched b ythc British troops. Artillery continues to be active on both sides, throwing great quantities of metal over both lines.
