HOW THE CAMPAIGN PROGRESSES. The campaign is proceeding well according to plan, the local committee of the Sick and 'Wounded Appeal report. The larger donors, who naturally were waited on first, have contributed magnificently, and if the few remaining in this group respond with equal generosity the estimated receipts will exceed anticipations for this class. On Monday next another important group to be called on is the employers in the shops and offices in and around the Sauare, and from the few advance donations received the response should very substantially assist realisation of the £6OOO required The “dark horse 1 group in tlie budget is the Kairanga. County, the canvass of which only commenced, on Wednesday. An encouraging early progress report of £7l from Block 6, captained by Mr R. A.
