(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, May 16. There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Badminton Club, Mr A. Wald in presiding. A report of the activities of the past year disclosed a highly successful season. The balance-sheet revealed a very substantial credit. The difficulties in procuring shuttles for immediate us© was the subject of a lengthy discussion, it being decided to increase the subscription fee to 10s to finance the club’s expenditure. Mrs A. Wa'.din and Miss N. Williamson were appointed to take charge of the supper arrangements. The election of officers resulted : President, Mr A. Waldin; captain. Mr L. Thurston; vice-cap-tain, Mr C. Burr; secretary, Mr R. Funston; committee, Mr and Mrs A. Waldin, Miss N. Williamson, R. Funston, L. Thurston.
